The Third Egyptian Italian Symposium on Critical Care Medicine

1 February, 2024

Dear colleagues:

It gives me a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the Third Egyptian Italian Critical Care Symposium to be held on the 1st of February , 2024  at the Critical Care Center  Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo , Egypt.

After a successful inaugural symposium in 2021, we are proud to continue collaboration with our Italian colleagues in organizing the third symposium which will host a panel of eminent Italian and Egyptian faculty who will deliver recent updates in Critical Care medicine topics.

The inception of Aida series was created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of premiering Opera Aida in December 1871 . Aida was composed by the leading Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi who was commissioned by Khedive Ismail to compose an Egyptian themed opera in celebration of the inauguration of the Khedival Opera House at Cairo.

Aida represents the long-standing and historic relations between Egypt and Italy based on joint interests and fruitful cooperation.  By organizing this event we are aiming for a continuous collaboration between both of our countries to advance the science and practice of critical care medicine.

I look forward to welcoming you in this scientific endeavor.
